Meet Jason Rogers
Audit Partner, Grant Thornton (Atlanta office)
Jason has over twenty-five years of experience in financial accounting and advisory services. Some of his specific service capabilities include providing audit services to public and private clients in the consumer industrial products and technology sectors, including a primary focus on retail, restaurants, manufacturing, transportation/ logistics, food and beverage, and healthcare IT. Jason also assists clients with SOX-related issues, including assessing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, identifying internal control weaknesses, and recommending suggestions for corrective action.
In addition, Jason has extensive experience with securitization transactions, secondary offerings, mergers, business acquisitions, and due diligence and analysis. Jason is part of the Firm’s National Retail leadership team, is a Firm National Culture Leader and is actively involved in the Firm’s Business Resource Groups. Jason is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Additionally, Jason was previously a board member of CURE Childhood Cancer and is an advisory board member for the J.M. Tull School of Accounting at the University of Georgia and the accounting school advisory board chair at Georgia College and State University. Jason is a 1996 graduate from the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.
